The distance between a supplier's catalogue and a buyer's decision is filled with questions. Our work starts there.
Origin & Signal develops English-language manufacturing research and practical sourcing resources for international B2B buyers. Our initial focus is light mobility aids, home safety, bathing and toileting products, and OEM/ODM capabilities.
We are building this project alongside existing professional commitments. The founding team brings research, data organization and English-language review to the work. We do not present ourselves as an accredited testing body, medical authority or established factory-audit firm.
Our current work is public-source research and free buyer tools. Buyers can discuss a research question or register interest in a possible China supplier visit. Any support requires a separately agreed scope; we do not promise factory access or present visit coordination as an accredited audit.

A specific claim was checked by a suitably qualified independent party. Identify the method, model or site, date and limits. This label is not applied to ordinary desk research.
Open question or conflict
Evidence is missing, inconsistent, outdated or outside scope. Record the next check instead of filling the gap with an assumption.

We do not currently sell supplier rankings or accept supplier payments for inclusion. A mention is not an endorsement. We will disclose material sponsorships, affiliate arrangements and conflicts if they arise.

We summarize public material selectively, respect copyright and do not republish confidential supplier or buyer files. Source checking does not establish a licence to resell someone else's database.
